Free Trade Agreement
China has signed with Peru on free trade agreement (FTA) more breadth and depth of its history, although this is not a priority country for the Asian giant, saw the Peruvian foreign trade expert Ricardo Paredes.
Speaking at a day of discussion on the controversial trade agreement between Peru and China, in force since March 1, the manager of business consulting and economic studies of the Society of Foreign Commerce (Comex-Peru) said that China had never negotiated many paragraphs together.
In his opinion, one of the virtues of this agreement is to set some clear rules for trade in goods, services and investments between both countries, China often negotiate issues piecemeal, not whole. Read the rest of this entry »
