International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (1965) defines racial discrimination as “any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, color, descent or national origin or ethnicity that has the purpose or effect nullify or destroy the recognition, enjoyment or exercise on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or other areas of public life. Under International Labor Organization Convention, the Convention on Discrimination in Employment and Occupation (1958), discrimination also includes, among other things, ” any distinction, exclusion or preference based on … national extraction or social origin which has the effect of nullifying or damage to equality of opportunity or treatment in employment and occupation.
However, in a capitalist system there is a radical form of discrimination that largely promotes the origin or various types of discrimination. Economic discrimination among those who had taken over the people of the means of their production, and the poor, with only their labor. This type of discrimination is more radical than wage discrimination in the distribution of discrimination in the legal ownership of the means of production.
